Bryant Learning to Tie his Tie

Scouts

I don’t remember what they called this, but for scouts they made boats, and then raced them. It was pretty fun. I hope they do it again.

Halloween!!!

For Halloween the kids wanted to be: Dead Magician, a King, a Penguin, and Chloe the Little Lamb.
The cool thing about Chloe’s costume is she loves her little lambs, and my parents found this costume named “Chloe the Lamb.” They couldn’t help but buy it.

Carnival

For the carnival I dressed the kids up in a medieval theme. We had a King, a Knight, a Dragon, and a Princess.

Chloe’s first manicure at the carnival.

Pirates!!

Fall Colors

We went to look at the beautiful colors one last time with my mom. It did not disappoint.

Camp Jackson with Friends

The last weekend in September we went up to Camp Jackson with some friends and their families, it was beautiful, all the fall colors. The Burge family and the Snyder Families joined us, then in the morning the Jeppesens’ came up. It was fun staying up late and getting to know the Burges better. We had so much fun. I think Chloe thought she was a Snyder for a while :).

Day Date to Lake Powell

James and I decided to go on a day date to Lake Powell just the two of us. We had been planning it for a while, but were so busy all the time we weren’t able to go until September 26th. James didn’t think it was cold at all. I thought it was a little cold when you were wet, but very bearable. It was one of the funnest dates we have been on together. We went into this little canyon and found a beautiful spot, with a ton a baby fish.

We (well James) went cliff diving. I had to really talk him into doing this, because we just got dried off and there was a little breeze.

We found this abandoned sand castle and claimed it as our own.
We putted around, we swam, we sun bathed, and we explored.
That, sadly was the last time we could take our jet skies down to Lake Powell because of the stupid environmentalist, no two stroke engines. At least we took advantage of going this year. Loved spending this day with James and making memories.  It really was the perfect day.

SWIMMING!!!

We LOVE the pool! The kids were so fun this year. Bryant, Conner and Ethan (age 4) are all independent swimmers, and my goal is to have Chloe that way next year (we’ll see). They loved going off the diving board, and everyone but Chloe found a true love for the “big slides”. It is so fun having kids who love the pool so much.
