First Day of School!

I am so excited about this school year. The boys both have great teachers, and friends. They are really excited about this year also. They wanted to take their teachers an apple… but we don’t have those kinds of things, no we have frozen cookie dough. Conner’s cookies didn’t all make it to his teacher. One slipped off, and Chloe ended up with it in her lap, then the other fell on the floor, and Ethan claimed that one. I hope his teacher enjoyed her one cookie. Yes we looked like total suck-ups walking through the school with our cookies.

Ethan was by far the most excited about preschool. He has been waiting to go to school for a long time. He was jumping around the day before because he was so excited. He was calling it his “Happy Jump”.

The next morning I asked James if Ethan came in our room. He said he came in at 3:30 a.m. and said, “I can’t sleep.” Poor thing was so excited, it must have been a rough night.

Well Lana didn‘t disappoint. He had a blast! They made shirts, his was yellow (I will get a picture soon), and had cookies with milk, and played in the sand. Lana and I have become good friends over the last few years. We walk in the mornings during the summer, and we are in the same ward, so it is nice sending my kids to her, knowing she already loves them, and they love her so much. It is fun seeing her at church, I swear she has movie star status with my kids. Thanks Lana!

More Pictures From Summer... Our Little Trip

We had a quick trip up north a while back. James had training, so Chloe, Ethan and I went with him. I was able to sneak away for a couple of hours to go see Jen and her kids at Thanksgiving Point, before I had to get back and pick-up James.

It was so nice visiting with them, even if it was for just a little bit. Thanks Jen for meeting up with us.

Block Party!

We decide to have a block party this year to get to know our neighbors a little better. I am so glad we did it. I want to make it an annual event. Thanks to everyone who came.
