March Randomness

March 1st it snowed again.  I love having boys who will shovel for me :).

March 3rd Owen figured out the stairs, and became a master at it.

March 21st we went to Grandma and Grandpa's to help with yard work.  They rewarded us with ice-cream afterwards.  

Hiking on the 28th.  Started the month with snow, ended with hike.

Went to tour the remodel of the South Chapel on the 28th.  So glad we got our movie theater chairs from them here.

To end the month here is a cute baby sleeping.

OWEN's 1st Birthday!!!

Our Beautiful, Happy, Adorable, Fun, Smart, Cuddly, Loving little miracle turned 1!  I can not believe how fast this year went.  It seems like not long ago I went into labor and was worried about what was going to happen to our little guy, and he turned out just perfect.  This little guy is the most cuddly little babies, and I love it.  He has, and continues to bring so much joy into our home.  We love you Owen.  

Grandma/pa Johnson brought his present early.  He didn't know what to think, but ended up enjoying them.

Look how cute he is sleeping.  Crepes for birthday! He didn't love them as much as the rest of us.  We made our own pizzas for birthday dinner.

The kids loved watching Owen open his gifts.  Bry had to hold Ethan back.  That present is bigger than O.

He loved "helping" dad put together his present.

Ethan's Birthday!

Ethan's Birthday kind of came in sections this year.  First my parents were leaving town so they came by to give Ethan and Owen their presents.

They have him a kick board, and his favorite... an art kit.

His birthday usually is during spring break so we went over to Durango's Rec Center.  We swam a ton (Owen loved the water towards the end).  We (James and I) forced (like physical) Conner down the "huge slide" which he ended up loving the most.  Then we finished off with the rock wall. Oh, we also went to Pizza Hut and got ripped off. :)

 After the Rec Center we went to the Mexican restaurant in Cortez and ordered the weirdest worst thing for kids on a recommendation, but Ethan was sung to.

Then for his actual birthday we had crepes for dinner instead of breakfast, and he had a "Big Hero 6" movied party with some friends from school.

We had him open the knee/elbow/hand pads first, and told him we got them because we love him, and we didn't want him to get hurt walking (hence the crying pict.).  Then we gave him his roller blades.

Chloe's Best Friend Page came over to go sledding.  I can not get over how cute these two are.

My favorite was watching them try to go down the sled together.  It is harder than it looks.

Sometimes our big brother wants to sled too.

So we give him the sled and go down like penguins.

Snow Day!!!

We had had a very mild winter until... February 23rd.  It had snowed so much the kids got a snow day and so did James.  So what did we do on our snow day?

We Shoveled!

We snow shoed

 We went sledding on the hill by our house.

Be So Darn Cute!

Go Snowmobiling with the neighborhood kids!

Have Hot Coco with SPRINKLES!

Go put mom on the account down at the bank (way over due).  

Put Owen in his forward facing car seat for the first time.  He LOVED it!

Have some chill time watching dad play games on his phone.

Have ice cream you made out of the freshly fallen snow. Mmmmmmm. 

We loved our snow day so much.  I kept wishing for more, maybe next year.
