Christmas Party!

James and I had our first possibly annual (will see:) Christmas party. It ended up being so much fun. We had a way fun group that came and they all brought good dip to share.
We had a Christmas Scavenger Hunt, where they had to go around with a camera and take pictures of different things around town. They got extra points for being creative.

Here are the different groups on the hunt. Josh, Andrea, Kristen, Curtis, Becca and Jesse. This group won, good job.

Travis, Brooke, Ginger and Steve.

Jay, Michelle, Alicia and Andy.

Our last game of the evening was a game James found in the Scout hand book. You tie a balloon to your ankle, the last one with an unpoped balloon wins. These boys were the last three in, until...

Becca decided to reveal that she had a balloon the whole time. She ended up winning, nice strategy:).

Overall it was a great night. Thanks everyone for coming!

Visit with Santa

We took the boys to the "Tree for All" to see Santa. They were so excited before and knew just what to tell him. I love how the minute they come face to face with the big man they become star struck and can't remember a thing they want. It kind of reminds me of the movie "A Christmas Story". It took a second but it came back to them.

Bryant had brought a little jingle bell that he had hung on to for a week to give to Santa and almost forgot to give it to him, luckily I reminded him. He told Santa that he could use it so that Bryant can hear him when Santa comes to our house.

Ethan is so stinking smart. He wanted a candy cane like his brothers, James told him he could have one after he sits on Santa Clauses lap. Ethan sat right on his lap, and pointed to the candy canes.

The second he had one he jumped off his lap and was on his way.

Movie Night

The other night we watched Michelle and Jay's kids. We put a little Netflix Christmas movie on the computer and moved the couches. They were so cute I couldn't resist taking a picture of all these boys.

Conner the Singer

This was so fun. I came home from a musical fireside put on by the missionaries, and found that Conner had written down in "Conner language" the words to a favorite song on paper, and wanted to preform it for me. So cute enjoy.

Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving

We had a good Thanksgiving this year, the best part is seeing so much family. It started out with Bryant's program the last day of school, and ended with a gathering at the Francom's.

On the Francom side there are 10 boys and only two girls, and one of them (Emmaly) just joined the family. On the Johnson side it’s 9 and 1, I will make it two in April. Crazy all these boys running around.
It was so funny trying to get a picture of all the grandkids. This is the best one we got. Look how good the 2 girls are being.

Cute picture of Carter and his mommy.

Nash in time out. check out that Francom Pout.

Grandma and Grandpa Frost

Becky, Ann, Bob and Tamara. Weird to think Tamara was Bryant's age when James and I got married.

The day after Thanksgiving the boys did the wishbone. I bet you can't tell who won.

Conner actually won, but you wouldn't know it from his expression.

Thanksgiving day after dinner we decided to take advantage of the nice weather and go Geo Cashing. It was our little family, my mom, Grant and Shay. I am glad they all came, It was a fun hike.

Conner was tripped by the dog and hurt his foot a little, so James carried both the boys part of the way. I volunteered to take Ethan, but he wouldn't let me. What a man.

Bryant's Program was great. I can't believe Mrs. Johnson was able to teach them so many songs and poems in such little time. She does such an excellent job with them.

This isn't of Bryant singing. He was acting so tired, which I didn't understand because he got to bed at 8:00 the night before and fell right to sleep. I wonder if he had a rough night.

Overall a good Thanksgiving weekend.

Bryant's Name for the Baby

The other day I asked Bryant what we should name his little sister. He asked when she was coming. I told him April. "Then we should name the baby April." He said with a huge smile. I told him we weren't going to name her that so he wouldn't get his hopes up and then be heart broken when she comes, but he is convinced. He has told several people including his teacher that her name is April. He even made everyone in the family including "April" these cute little boats.

Happy Birthday!

Last week we had mine and James' birthdays. For my birthday we went with Brooke and Trav, Michelle and Jay and Becca and Jesse and all the little kids over to the rec. center in Cortez. It was so much fun, and the kids loved it. Aysia was the only girl out of 10 kids, and she was the only kid brave enough to go off the big slide. Her face was so funny coming out of the slide, she was so happy.

After the rec. center James came up with the idea (all by himself:) to have the husbands and kids go to McDonald's while me and the girls had a girls lunch.

This is the picture Becca took with her phone of me being sung too. I look so silly happy. It was really funny.

It was so great, I got to go spend family friend time at the rec center and then have girls time. James is so thoughtful. Thanks for a great birthday James.

For James' birthday I had the Bar D. Wranglers come to Blanding and put on a show. So many people came to celebrate James' birthday;). We had cake and James' favorite dinner. I wanted to give him a party, but I knew he really didn't want one and he was so sweet to give me what I wanted. He is such a wonderful Husband and Father. I hope you had a good birthday.

The Baby is a...

Girl!

Look at her cute little profile.

According to the poll on the side half of you are right. James is on the side that was wrong. I was really worried when they told me she was breech, and then I realized that she had plenty of time to turn.

My ultrasound was scheduled for next week, then the hospital called yesterday morning and said the lady was down and they had an appointment if I wanted to switch, of course I did.

We checked Bryant out of school and let him come with us, we figured he was old enough. He was so good the whole time. He barley made a peep. I'm glad we took him.

I love this picture of her little foot.

I had really prepared myself for a boy, I thought for sure she was going to be a boy. It was a fun surprise. Everything looks good, she looked very healthy and was moving like crazy. James and I were looking at names last night on the computer. He was up pretty late and I fell asleep on the couch. Now it is time to start buying pink!

Hiking at Comb

This last Saturday we decided it would be fun to pack up a lunch and take the boys down to Comb Wash for a hike. It was so much fun, the boys loved it. I have to admit I had a little break down when James took Bryant and Ethan up a little too high for me. I just hated seeing my babies up so high. In all honesty it really wasn't at all bad, I am just a big chicken. Conner stayed with me so we could comfort each other.

The boys were taking a little break in the shade, and their dad thought it would be funny to get them a little wet. The funny thing is it didn't even get them, they didn't even know anything had happened.

Everyone had fun climbing around these cool rocks.

This is a great picture of Conner, good job James.

I love the way our family picture turned out.

Halloween!

We kind of procrastinated so we didn't carve our pumpkins till Halloween. The kids didn't know better and they still loved painting and carving. Thank you Elaine for the pumpkins.

Ethan had just woke up from his nap, and would not cooporate. He did not want to wear the hat thing that came with his costume.

Trunk or Treat went great. The kids had tons of fun gathering candy. Conner went up to Clint (member of our bishopric) and informed him that he was a caterpillar. "Want to know what caterpillar's have? They have lots of legs and a giant butt." Latter when Clint was trying to have him tell me what caterpillars have he just said they have lots of legs. His costume was really cute, the little butt would go side to side when he walked.

Ethan finally put the hat on, and then he wouldn't take it off. He was so mad when it was time to take the costume off, he kept picking it up and throwing it at me.

James has become pretty dang good at carving. Bryant and James did the scary face and James did the lady in the fire and Conner and I did the happy pumpkin.
